Are there any reasonably $ flights to Bahrain from TO

Hello there,
Can anyone tell me if there are any reasonably priced flights from Toronto to Bahrain? My friend lives in Bahrain and I would like to visit her late November.I just went on a travel website and was horrified to see that flights alone start @ $4500.00!!! Can anyone tell me of cheaper flights??? Also, what are the prices of hotels in Bahrain like? I'm getting scared of all these high prices!!!!Any advice or suggestions would be really appreciated....
