It depends on where you are going. The problem with August is that most of Italy is hot and all of the Italians are on vacation so places are crowded and a lot of the tourist attractions are closed.

Yes of course,In August, the weather of Italy is hot, I heard about many visitors who had visited here they told me about the weather in Italy.
