| The Santa Maria Aglientu is small, I would say fewer than 10 rooms. It was a nice change from the very large and "cold" Naples hotel that we stayed in. The Santa Maria looks out on the sea towards Corsica. There are white sand beaches nearby and the water is the beautiful blue/green that you can find in southern Italy. We found the area very quiet, if you are looking for more action you need to go to one of the resort towns. The swimming pool looked nice, but I don't know why you would choose it over one of the lovely beaches. The restaurant is excellent and serves great local dishes. Our breakfast was included in the room rate. |
