| Cefalu was a great place to end our trip to Italy and the Villa Gaia Hotel was a great place to spend our last two nights in Sicily. The hotel is on the small side, maybe 15 rooms or so. We had a nice room with a view of the sea, something we always ask for when staying near the beach. Our room was large and exceptionally clean. The bathroom was more than adequate though the shower was a little intimidating, like something out of Star Trek. The breakfast buffet was typical of European hotels but was very good. The hotel has a beach for use by hotel guests. The staff was very friendly. It was a 10 or 15 minute walk to town and a shorter walk to a lot of good restaurants. |
