| I love I Fratellini! We walked by while we were walking back to our hotel from the Ponte Vecchio. We saw a group of people eating what looked like great sandwiches. We could not resist so we stopped and ordered lunch. It was great and inexpensive for Florence. I plan to go here everytime I am Florence which I hope is often. |

This little "hole in the wall" restaurant is actually a fiaschitteria (from the Italian word for flask of wine). Brothers Armando and Michele Perrino fix sandwiches and pour glasses of wine. You stand at the bar or in the alley munching on your sandwich and sipping your wine. It is about 2 blocks from the Piazza Signoria, near the Mercato Nuovo and offers one of the most reasonably priced meals in Florence.
