This restored medieval house is a reconstruction dating from 1911. It is not actually Dante's house though he lived near here. The museum evokes Dante's life and times he lived in. Rooms are devoted to 13th century Florence and the growth of the city, the life of Dante and his works including the Divine Comedy.
