With only 29 rooms the Hermitage Hotel Florence is a gem located close to the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio. With a superb location and lots of atmosphere, this hotel is a great spot to take in the sights of Florence.

The roof top terrace with its pots of flowers adding to the allure of the vista of the city below, makes this a prime location to relax and unwind. Its pretty rooms with antique furnishings, a living room with fireplace and bar and its moderate pricing make a wonderful combination that you can't afford to miss.

This is a perfect hotel, typically European -- individual and wonderful location. It is reasonably priced, wonderfully decorated, great roof garden restaurant where breakfast is served. Less than 20 rooms, which may be smallish for Americans with their huge suitcases, but which is perfect for those who give themselves over to the classic Italian culture.
