| Food mediocre; service lamentable - staff inattentive and untrained, delivered food to wrong table; couldn't be bothered to ask if we wanted a dessert or coffee; proprietor too busy counting his takings and couldn't care less about anything else, was rude and only response to my polite complaint was, "These things happen in August."; wouldn't consider going there again. |

| Sottomonte is a wonderful little restaurant near Golfo Aranci. The food was great but it is the setting that makes it special. The staff was very attentive. The restaurant is known for their seafood. I had ravioli with a seafood filling and it was excellent. Check the hours because the restaurant may not be open year round. |
