I bought a small terracotta doll at Ospedale delle Bambole for my daughter while visiting Naples. The Napolis I've spoken to recommended that I visit this shop. The shop looked creepy with all those dolls but once you take a closer look, you'll appreciate the art and hardwork in each doll. 

This is a wonderful little store or should I say doll hospital which is what Ospedale delle Cambole means.  Here you can find dolls of all types including those in need of repair because they are broken or worn out.  They also have beautiful antique dolls.  The dolls come in all forms - wood, wax, terra-cotta, papier-mache, plastic, etc.  The shop is small so it will not take much time to walk through it.  As you walk around the shop you can see the tools that are used to fix up the dolls.  I felt like I had taken a walk back in time when I visited this shop.
