Tre Scalini is one of those authentic hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurants. The ambiance is nice. We had al fresco dining. But the food was expensive. We had coffee and tried out their house special called tartufo which is like a chocolate ball.

Loved the place. Enjoyed people watching a lot. 

Traditional Roman Restaurant located in the centre of piazza Navona. It has many tables also outside the restaurant so in the beautiful season is very beautiful sit down to one of these tables and enjoy the sun and people walking in the square.

You can eat all traditional Italian dishes, pasta, ravioli con ricotta cheese and fried vegetables.

Dessert is the main course here; “tartufo al cioccolato” is the best chocolate cake in Rome.
