| Visiting the Vatican Museums was one of the things I looked forward to most during my stay in Rome. I had to wait in quite a long line before entering the museum, so I would recommend getting there early to minimize the line waiting, especially during tourist seasons. The highlight of the Vatican Museums is Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel. This historic chapel has the front and ceiling painted by Michelangelo and is the site used during the election of a new Pope. |
