The famous Spanish Steps, like all other touristy places in Rome, was jam-packed with people. Even under the melting sun, people flock to this charming location. We climbed up to the top of the stairs to check out the Palazzo. The view from the top was, needless to say, breathtaking. The city was full of life and the dated buildings on the background gave it a more enchanting feeling. It was nice, in a pervasive kind of way.

Piazza di Spagna or The Spanish Steps is a steep climb of about 138 steps linking the Palazzo Monaldeschi in the piazza below, with the Trinità dei Monti above.

The Spanish Steps is ALWAYS crowded with people. It was also a favorite location shoot for international films.

It was built in the 18th century and the steps has been restored several times to preserve it's original state.
