We had a wonderful dining experience at the Da Fortunato. The food was exemplary. The wait staff were friendly -- the usual Italian hospitality.

We had local dishes e.g. pasta, salad, calamari and tiramisu for dessert. Great food and ambiance. We noticed that people who frequent this restaurant are all well-dressed, most of them are. 

Be sure to dine al fresco for a nice view of the Pantheon.

Da Fortunato is one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to. Our group spent our lunch here after hours of touring the city. We ordered homemade mozzarella prosciutto and spaghetti cacio pepe. The place was half-full when we got there. Service was okay and the food was really awesome.

We preferred al fresco dining to have a better view of the Pantheon. Wonderful food coupled with a majestic view!
