The Lake District, Italy Vacation Guide

It is hard to believe that Lake Como and all its beauty is only an hour or so from the hustle and bustle of Milan. When you take the boat from Como to one of the towns on the lake the person taking your ticket will ask you where you are going. If you say Bellagio, their face lights up and they say ahhhh "Bello Bellagio". If you say Varenna, their face lights up and they say ahhhh "Bella Varenna." It is nice to see people who love their communities, but then again, what is not to love about one of the most beautiful places on earth. And it is not just Como. Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore are also breathtakingly beautiful.
