The Grand Canal Restaurant was one of the finest restaurants we've ever been to. Perhaps, it was the ambiance or the enigmatic air that comes with the city of Venice.

When we got to the restaurant, we requested to be seated outside because we want to see the gondolas passing by. I think the food was secondary to the dining experience. We've enjoyed the food, by the way. It's just that the location makes the dining experience a little more dramatic. 

We highly recommend this place. Great ambiance and great food!

The Grand Canal is one of our favorite places so what better way to spend our remaining days in Venice? Dine out in restaurants by the Grand Canal! 

The dining area is within the premises of the Hotel Monaco and Grand Canal. Remarkable location. We headed to the terrace and feasted our eyes with the great views from the Canal. Great food, great music as well. 

We had grilled salmon, insalata then some wine to wash it down. The waiting staff were friendly and very efficient. We truly has a great dining experience. 

The Grand Canal Restaurant is an ideal location to watch the gondoliers as they are tied up right in front of you in this exclusive waterfront restaurant that is in the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal.

Great for lunch or a romantic dinner, the food is wonderful and the view couldn't be better as you look across the Grand Canal to the Church of Santa Maria della Salute and the island of San Giorgio.

Close to St. Mark's Square, this restaurant is also a good place to stop for a drink and appetizer just to enjoy the view. The hotel is also a great place to stay for its location and 100 recently renovated rooms make it a desirable spot in this magnificent city.
