Gallerrie dell Accademia contains masterpieces of Venetian paintings dating back to the 18th century. The paintings are arranged by theme. The artworks on display were done by great painters such as Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man, Bellini, Canaletto, Piazetta and more. The museum is located in the northern part of Italy and on the south bank of the grand canal. The museum was originally an art school. Later, it was converted into a museum to house the paintings of iconic artisans in history. |
