The raucous area around the Rialto bridge is home to the huge Rialto markets. Since you will be visiting the Rialto bridge it is worth trekking over to markets where you will see both tourists and locals looking at the fish, meat and vegetables. On your way you will see vendors selling all types of items. The streets are very narrow and very crowded so it you need to hang onto your wallet. Look for the label nostrano on fruit and vegetables - it means local.
