The Museo Correr and Museo Archeologico occupy the top floors of the Procurate Nuove and Sansovino's library building. The Correr tells the story of Venetian history and social life in the 16th and 17th centuries including displays on festivals, games and the trade guilds. The Museo Archeologico houses a collection of Greek and Roman art as well as a series of state rooms called the Biblioteca Marciana where manuscripts and old books are displayed.
