I was on an Italy group tour with college friends back in 2007. We checked out hotels out of town to experience authentic Italian lifestyle. Started off with Amalfi and booked at Dei Cavalier.

We were greeted by friendly staff on the day we arrived. Our rooms were all facing the sea. The view was so beautiful. Breakfast was fine, freshly baked breads, coffee and tea. For lunch and dinner, we checked out the restaurants outside the hotel.

There was a beach located 500 meters from the hotel. The beach was awesome, too, clear blue and powdery white sand. The climb uphill back to the hotel was tiring. But you can rent the boat to take you nearer t the hotel. They charge a small fee for that.

We enjoyed our stay. We'll book here again.
