The Da Giacomo restaurant is a favorite among local residents, that's why me and some of my friends, on my second trip to Italy, tried it out. I've heard from some folks over at the Abacus Hotel that Da Giacomo is a good place to eat. True enough, it is. The place has a warm and enjoyable atmosphere that would entice you to eat. The people, mostly local residents, were very nice and fun to talk to. Some of them even ordered food for us (they paid for the food) just so we can taste the restaurant's dishes. Most of the food served here are fish and other seafood--a rare treat for us who are used to eating meat. We were served anchovy pizza for appetizers, and it tasted so good I ended up ordering another. Da Giacomo is highly recommended for all tourists who want to experience the local cuisine. I suggest you go with your friends or family to truly enjoy the experience. |
