This is probably my favorite hotel in Italy, certainly my favorite in Cinque Terre and I have stayed in several.  The service is incredible, the staff treats you like royalty.  The hotel itself and our room in particular were spotless.  Our room was very nice and the bathroom was well above average for a hotel in the area.  The view from various places around the hotel are beautiful.  The breakfast was very good, the selection was average, but the food itself was very good.  The staff is more than happy to help you out with recommendations of restaurants and things to do.  The location is excellent for getting around Monterosso.
