La Taverna - Restaurant - Perugia, Italy
The food at La Taverna is a fusion of Italian and new world cuisine. The price is a bit expensive as compared with the other restaurants. The meals were the best I had in Perugia!

Sangallo serves local cuisine. Gotta love their pasta.

Accademia delle Belle Arti - Sites & Things To Do - Perugia, Italy

The Accademia delle Arti musuem houses more than 300 sculptures, 19th century paintings and 16th century engravings. There's so much historical value in this place. I spent the whole afternoon admiring the works of art.

If you're a chocolate-addict like me, then better not miss Bar Ferrari. It's open untill midnight. Cool place.

Caffe di Perugia - Restaurant - Perugia, Italy

I was looking for a nice local restaurant near Perugia. The hotel staff suggested Caffe di Perugia since it was a few blocks away from my hotel. The pizza was great. Ordered the basil and tomato. The set-up was al fresco.

Plaza Hotel Perugia - Hotels & Hostels - Perugia, Italy

This is a good hotel for a brief stay. To get to the city, you need to rent a car or travel by bus.

The rooms are clean and the one I stayed in has a nice view overlooking the city of Perugia. They have complete amenities for conferences and meetings. The hotel staff are friendly. The rooms are big enough for twin sharing. They have high speed internet in the room which allowed me to work some more when I got back to the hotel.

There are nice quaint shops near the hotel. I'd recommend this hotel to business travelers.

Domo Hotel Perugia - Hotels & Hostels - Perugia, Italy

The Domo Hotel is right at the heart of the suburbs. It's near the Metro Link so transportation wouldn't be a problem.

I love the facilities of the hotel. I was able to use the sauna and the pool during my stay. The jacuzzi and the zen terrace are my favorite amenities. The atmosphere is very conducive to relaxation and meditation.

Since my trip to Perugia was business-related, I didn't get to see much of the fine places nearby. But the hotel itself was a sight to see. It's clean, elegant-looking and service is good.

The one thing I don't like about the hotel is that they allow pets inside the premises. I'd see dogs in the mornings. Good thing my next door neighbor didn't have a pet. Otherwise, I wouldn't have slept properly.

Park Hotel Perugia - Hotels & Hostels - Perugia, Italy

My family enjoyed our brief stay at The Park Hotel. The rooms weren't as big as we expected. But the overall set-up is reasonable enough for the price we paid.

We also hired a car during our stay because there was no shuttle in the hotel. I hope the hotel can work something out in respect of the transportation. Not all would opt to get car rental. In terms of food and service, I'd give it a thumbs up. The food was great and the staff were accomodating.

Holiday Inn Perugia - Hotels & Hostels - Perugia, Italy

I stayed here for 3 days when I visited my friend who lives near the area. The price is reasonable on the pocket. Just make sure you get a car because it's a bit far from the city. There's a shuttle that takes you to and from the city. But you need to make prior reservations for that.

The food is okay. Nothing fancy. They have the usual pasta dishes.

The room is clean although it's a tad narrow. If you're bunking in with friends, I suggest you get a larger room.

On the overall, I would recommend this hotel. I enjoyed my stay.

Domus Volumnia Residence Hotel Perugia - Hotels & Hostels - Perugia, Italy

This is a villa type B&B. It's right at the entrance of Perugia. Perfect for business travelers. Its location is borderline between the city and the suburbs.

I find the place very cozy. I would've loved to stay longer if not for work commitments. The food is good. Staff are friendly. You can have breakfast in the living room. They provide airport shuttle, too.

They have an outdoor pool which is a must-try. The fresh breeze of the outdoors is relaxing.

The rate is a bit steep. Probably because of its accessibily to both city and transportation.
