Our Venice getaway wouldn't be complete without taking a trip to Venice's main water thoroughfare. We took the waterbus to take us around. As we passed by the dated buildings left and right, we couldn't help but admire the old buildings. It was like a trip down memory lane. It was very romantic and on that day we took the trip, the sun was up and shining. The weather was just perfect.

Other ways to cruise the canal include barges, gondola and small kayak. 

The Basilica di San Marco is a sight to behold. This magnificent church is located at St Mark's Square. The wall to wall architecture and the paintings were so beautiful. We went there in the morning to avoid the long queue. Too bad that we weren't allowed to take photos inside. We had to leave our bags and our cameras behind. 

A definite must-see in Venice. 

We were looking for a nice hotel in Venice and stumbled upon Abbazia De Luxe hotel in travel reviews. Travelers raved about it so we took the chance and booked here. And my! It was the best decision we've made. The hotel, albeit smaller than regular hotels, is quaint, lovely and clean. We had a lovely view of the canal from our room. Everything, from service to food, were excellent. Our breakfast was more than adequate; offering a wide array of foods to choose from. We ate to our hearts content to fuel us during the day's walking tours.

The location is just minutes away from the train station. And there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. 

Los Rosas is located in the countryside but near the airport. Easy to spot the place.

The staff were indeed very accomodating. All our needs were attended. 

 Great place to stay for relaxation.

Enjoyed this place. There was local entertainment by the residents in the evening. Interesting people.

I'd love to go back to Capo Caccia. Great views fro our room.

I love the location and the white powdery sand of the beach. The room I got was quite small as well as the bathroom.

It was also noisy at night. I could hear the people in the adjacent room.
