Da Adolfo - Restaurant - Positano, Italy

We had lunch at Da Adolfo as this place was mentioned in the website we read about Positano. To get to the restaurant, we took a boat off the wharf. Nothing fancy about its structure but the food was awesome. We had pomodoro, seafood and a pasta dish. It was the typical local fanfare.  Eating at Da Adolfo was one of the highlights of our trip.

Next2 - Restaurant - Positano, Italy

We dined at Next2 all throughout our trip. The hotel staff recommended this place and glad we followed his suggestion. Amazing food and the service was superb. We had zucchini blossoms, fish and a bottle of wine on our first dinner. We tried the other dishes on the next days and it was as good.

The waiter even explained to us the different wines and which wine suits our food most.

Wonderful food and service.

Grotta La Porta - Sites & Things To Do - Positano, Italy
2 years ago

The Grotta La Porta cave is located inside the harbor. According to archeologists, there were a lot of shells excavated from this place. There were also evidence that pre-historic humans resided in the cave. So much history in this cave. It's location is outside the city. So it's better to schedule a day for the trip.

Grotta dello Smeraldo Emerald Grotto - Sites & Things To Do - Positano, Italy
2 years ago

We rented a small fisherman's boat to get to the Emerald Grotto. We joined other hotel guests who were planning to see the grotto as well. It took us about 30 minutes to get to the grotto.

The grotto had fantastic rock formations, stalactites and stalagmites of different sizes. There was an underwater nativity grotto said to be set up in 1956.

HOTEL REGINELLA - Hotels & Hostels - Positano, Italy
2 years ago

The hotel is the typical Mediterranean style hotel. Nice and quaint. The location is also very convenient for travelers as it was minutes away from the bus stop and the shops.

Our room was spacious. I say it looked bigger than the standard Italian hotel rooms. Also, we had a nice view from our room. The owner was very nice, always ready to give us advice on restaurants and must-see places. We had the basic breakfast buffet: rolls, fruits, yogurt, cappuccino.

We enjoyed our one week stay. We loved the hospitality!
