La Casa Dei Limoni Hotel Monterosso al Mare - Hotels & Hostels - Monterosso Al Mare, Italy

La Casa Dei Limoni is a wonderful B & B located in an old farmhouse in the hills above the old section of Monterosso al Mare.  The views from the balcony were beautiful including the sea and the lemon trees near the hotel.  The only concern is that it is it is quite a hike to get to the hotel.  The train station is about a 20 minute walk and with your luggage it can be physically taxing to get to the hotel.  Our room was large enough and comfortable.  The breakfast which was included in the price was great.  Generally it included yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries, coffee, etc.  The homemade lemon tarts were especially good.  Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful giving us recommendations on places to eat and things to do.  I highly recommend this hotel, you just have to be in good enough shape to make the climb.  Ask for a room on the top floor with a balcony.
