La Tagliata's home style cooking was great. Food was aplenty. One plate moves from one table to another and we only partake dishes that we like. Good value for money.

Love this restaurant. La Tagliata is very family-friendly. My kids enjoyed the Italian food. We had basic Italian dishes such as pasta, ravioli and calzone. The staff were nice and accommodating. There was music throughout. Great food!

We had great food memories of La Tagliata. It's a family run  restaurant serving local Italian food fare. There was no real menu, instead the owners would serve us various dishes in our table. There's salad, pasta, fish and meat. We just pick which food we like. There was plenty of food! And I've never eaten so much in my life. The food was just great.

There was a guitar playing in the background. The place has a very cozy ambiance.

We paid less than a 100 Euro and that's for two persons already.

We highly recommend La Tagliata in Positano. Eating there was one of the highlights of our honeymoon.

We chose to celebrate our first anniversary at La Tagliata. Fortunately for us, our anniversary fell on the same night as the festival honoring the town’s church. Our hotel was able to arrange a car for us and we were taken high above Positano to Montepertuso. A special table had been arranged for us, so we had a wonderful view of Positano below us, as well as Montepertuso decorated for the festivities. We were pleased with what we ordered: cannelloni, spaghetti with shrimp, a mixed grill platter, and a mixed cake plate featuring their unforgettable Torta della Nonna. We spent €61 and later found out that they offer an extensive fixed-price menu that basically includes the same amount of food for around the same price.

Ristorante La Tagliata is my favorite resturant in Positano and one of my favorite in Italy.  There is no menu, all the food is served family style.  There is a ton of food and it is all delicious.  La Tagliata is family run, everyone working there is friendly and helpful.  The restaurant has an excellent view.  One of the best things about La Tagliata has nothing to do with food - they send a van to pick you up at your hotel.  Now that is excellent customer service.
