Le Sirenuse is expensive but it is worth every Euro.  Our room was beautiful.  It had a nice balcony overlooking the water. Included in the price of our room was a boat trip which was a nice extra.  The food, the service, the pool were all great.  There is a wonderful champagne bar which is a great place to meet and catch up ( I think it is only open in season).  The house is a former residence and it really does feel more like you are staying in someone's home rather than a hotel.  We were not as enchanted with the restaurant as with the rest of the hotel.  We felt that it was overpriced for the food.  Other than one dinner we ate elsewhere during our 4 day stay in Positano.  The breakfast, however, was wonderful.
