Take a break from sight seeing to relax in The Borghese Gardens. The wide pathways are great for strolling.  They kept the trees in the gardens unlike many parks in the US which are wide open green spaces.  You can pick up a gelato or bottle of water at one of the many snack carts that are found in the here.  The Borghese Gardens are a great place to people watch. 

Located at the top of the Via Veneto the gardens are dull of fountains, statues and even a small pond.

There are some homeless people on the outskirts of the park and I would not feel comfortable walking in the park after dark.
