The plain façade of this 11th century church hides a church containing private chapels for many of the wealthiest Florentine families - the Strozzi, Davanzati, Spini and Doni. Each is decorated with elaborate frescoes, reliquaries and tombs. The church was built in the 11th century but the baroque façade was built in 1593.
