travel/work in Italy

Hi,

I have been to Italy several times in the past, mainly in the region of Naples and Sorrento but also a brief visit to Rome.  I love everything about the Italian way of life - the food, the people, the culture and the way of life!  I would love the opportunity of visiting Italy again and exploring much more of this beautiful country.  However like many people these days I'll be working to a strict budget and haven't always found Italy to be the cheapest place to visit especially in terms of accomo
dation.
Does anyone have any ideas on cheap ways to travel around and see this beautiful country??
I would even be interested on an extended stay (6-8 weeks) and could have a working holiday??
I have been searching the internet myself but havn't come up with anything myself yet.  I have a basic grasp of the Italian language but would love to learn more and as for the work involved I would be preapred for anything!!
I'd appreciate any suggestions anyone might have to offer???????
Thanks

Re: travel/work in Italy

Travel light on your trip to Italy because most of the railway stations in Italy do not have any trolleys or porters who can carry your luggage. You have to carry your own luggage yourself.
