We bought lovely dresses for our daughter at Assunta Anichini. It was my wife who stumbled upon this store online. And we made sure that we paid a visit when we visited Florence. The designs were elaborate and I think they've an entire collection of children's apparel.

Anichini is located just north of the river. Founded in 1912 it is the oldest children's clothing store in Florence. Many of the most beautiful clothes are made in-house under Anichini's own label. All of the intricate embroidery and smocking is done by hand.
