| There are hundreds of little ceramics stores in Caltagirone but the Besnik Harizi was among the more unique that we found. If you care about where your ceramics come from you have to be careful because not all of the ceramics are made in Italy some are made in - you guessed it China. But the Besnik Harizi is authentic. They specialize in vases that feature faces and heads, though many of them have the traditional Italian floral designs. Some of the vases are actual heads with an opening at the top. They also have figurines, plates, little boxes and other assorted items. Everything was beautiful. |
