The Trappitu has all types of seafood dishes, but the terrace is the reason to go there. Ask what is fresh for the day and you won't be disappointed. I had fried calamari, which is nothing like the heavy dish you find in the US. It was wonderful. You can sit outside and enjoy your meal while you enjoy the view of the rocky shore. You will need to make a reservation well in advance for a table on the terrace. The building is a converted oil mill so the structure is interesting. Pizza is also offered if you have had your fill of seafood on your trip around Sicily. The restaurant is actually very large, but like I said if you want to sit on the terrace call ahead. |
