General Description: The Hotel Eden is situated in the historic centre of Florence, just a few hundred meters from the central train station, and minutes from many of the city's most important historic and artistic sights such as the Medici Chapels, the San Lorenzo Basilica, the Accademia Museum and the magnificent Duomo (Santa Maria del Fiore). An external car-park service is available.

For a 2 star hotel (according to the hotel rating system) the hotel was clean.  The Eden Hotel is near the train station so it was easy to get there after our travels.  It is an easy walk to all of the major sites in Florence.  The staff was friendly.
