Right after I graduated from college, I embarked on a European trip with my two bestfriends. We decided to go to Venice.

We made reservations at a hotel called the Acca Hotel. To be honest, the first time you try to find the hotel can be frustrating. It was situated in a spot not know to a lot of people. Even local residents don't really know where it is. Luckily, there was one couple who pointed the way to us.

I soon realized that it's the elusiveness of the hotel that makes it more special. We found out that the owner can and is willing to pick up guests to avoid getting lost. How I wished we'd known about it earlier.

Anyway, everything about the place was very good. The room we got, which was good for three people, were very clean and nice. It had a bathtub. The pillows were nice for sleeping. The whole room was finely decorated.

Though the food for breakfast was not restaurant-level, it was still good.

The whole property has a cozy and friendly atmosphere. The staff was very friendly so you would really be tempted to go back.
