Re: Buying Gifts in ItalyI buy different types of pasta, pasta you can't find in the US. It is entertaining to shop in the little food markets that are in every town and city in Italy. Bags or boxes of pasta are cheap, small enough to pack in your suitcase and it does not break or if it does it does not matter. Offline #3 01-22-2009 11:52 AM

Re: Buying Gifts in ItalyYears ago I traveled with a woman who always buys pieces of fabric that she can take home and make into a pillow, cover seats or even frame. Now I do the same. They are easy to pack, are beautiful, are cheap and they do not break. Offline #5 02-07-2026 11:58 PM
