The Valley of the Temples of Agrigento, a corner of history famous throughout the world, preserves a precious treasure, the Giardino della Kolymbetra (Garden of Kolymbetra) that in 2001, was placed under the protection of FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano) that has given him again the initial splendour. Rich of plants of the Mediterranean maquis, citrus fruits and Tamerici, it is irrigated still according to the techniques and the Arab traditions. It is possible to visit the garden by a guide, walking along the ancient paths of this precious jewel. In the next travel in Sicily don’t forget the Giardino of Kolymbetra! |

Antiquities or Churches - by Kendall |
If you only have 24 hours in Rome which would you focus on antiquities (the coleseum, the forum, etc.) or churches (the Vatican, etc.)? |
