| La Scalinarella has its charms but it is a bit dated and run down for the money. Our room was okay (it met our cleanliness standards) but our bathroom was old and cramped. The service was outstanding and the location can not be beat. We were able to walk to a lot of restaurants, shops and bars. There is a pool attendant who takes very good care of the guests which is a nice touch. There is no restaurant at La Scalinarella but you can have breakfast and lunch at the pool. The fact that there is not a restaurant is not a negative since there are so many good restaurants on the island. |
